Week Thirty-Two

I should have done this yesterday but I don't know where the day went, I haven't done my weeks of the year since week 20 back in May, but you see we haven't done much, we haven't been out or away.  We had a family get together in week 25 but really not many photos were taken that day.........  I see we are over halfway through the year!

This week we saw our grand-daughter turn eight years old!  We went last Monday and had a wonderful day with her and her brother and sister, lunch out.

June Scavenger Hunt 2017

The Setting Sun

My local Wild Place, well, my whole garden is wild with weeds plants in the wrong place.  We call this patch Prickly Corner, it has Bramble, lots of Bramble, the Yucca  as well as Bind Weed and Ivy

It was on one of those very hot sunny days I sat in the garden very early one morning and sewed buttons a new knitted jumper I made my granddaughter for the winter with my Mug of Favourite Drink - Tea

Rainbows are My Kind of Beauty,
The day I put all the bags in the boot of the car thinking I won't need them on my journey home, we drove through a rainbow on the way back from Devon once, it was beautiful.

Look to the Skies
I did a two blog posts last year about looking up!  Here and here.  I love weather vanes and always try and take photos of them.  Always look to the skies you don't know what you might see.......

Week Twenty

Last Wednesday the BBC Antiques Roadshow rolled into town!

It was a very wet day, and we went down at about 9 am to West Somerset Steam Railway Station and there was long queue with a variety of bags, and some things not in bags.........

I took my teddy bear and dolls.  I just missed seeing Hilary Kaye.  The gentleman I saw was informative of my bear, which is a Petz Bear which although rare not worth much.  Been loved too much!  His fur is rough and his stuffing is escaping and his growler doesn't growl anymore, but he is my bear!  Petz only lasted a few years and there isn't much written about them.  The stuffing is wood wool.

Not much about the dolls.
